Parth Patel
Studio Principal
Parth is a landscape architect with a strong foundation in architecture, having studied and practiced the discipline for nearly a decade before earning his Master of Landscape Architecture from Morgan State University in Baltimore. In 2017, he founded MPDesign Workshop, a studio rooted in contextual, material-driven, community-centered design values. He also helped co-establish and teach at the Environment Center for Art and Design (ECAD) in Nandigram, India.
A disciple of Professor Mahendra Parekh, Parth carries forward the philosophy of Regional Modernism, weaving modern design principles with vernacular traditions, cultural context, and material authenticity. His work reflects a sensitivity to place, craft, and drawing as a mode of inquiry and expression.
With experience in both Baltimore and New York City, Parth’s practice moves fluidly between architecture and landscape, grounded in regional insight and thoughtful design storytelling.
Alysha Patel
Design Principal
Alysha holds a Master’s degree in Architecture and is experienced in New York City. Influenced by the late Professor Mahendra Parekh, her work is shaped by environmentally responsive design, cultural context, and a strong foundation in art, which also supported her tutoring role at the Environment Centre for Art and Design (ECAD). She uses geometry as a language to shape form, guide space, and reveal underlying order.
As a co-founder of MPDesign Workshop, she brings insights from years of working in rural environments and plays a key role in the studio’s conceptual direction and design detailing, grounding each project in clarity, craft, and contextual thinking.
Jay Patel
Interior designer
Jay is an interior designer who bridges a science-driven mindset with a contemporary design sensibility. His transition from science to interiors gives his work a unique clarity where observation, logic, and creativity merge seamlessly. Jay’s instinct for imagining spatial moods and composing material palettes defines his design identity.
He approaches interiors as layered experiences, shaping light, texture, color, and proportion to create spaces that feel intentional and immersive. His work naturally complements architecture, bringing refinement and atmosphere to every project he engages with.
Keval chotalia
Architect
Keval brings an energetic and intuitive imagination to architecture, with a refined sense of scale, proportion, and spatial clarity. His enthusiasm for detailing and strong graphic sensibility shape the way he develops drawings, visuals, and spatial narratives, always aiming for precision and clarity.
He brings a focused yet easygoing approach to each project, blending creativity with practical thinking to shape a clear, modern architectural voice.
